2. At the end of the upset forging phase, appropriate plastic deformation should be obtained for the counterpart and the adjacent area. The amount of deformation will make the oxidized metal in the flash phase squeeze out the burr as much as possible, and promote the crystallization process of the weld.
3. At the end of the preheating phase, uniform preheating should be obtained along the entire end face of the weldment, especially the unfolded weldment, such as plates, and the required temperature value.
